A commercial usage license for Kodama IA — not a purchase of the code as your own property. You're granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and run Kodama IA on your machines, use it to map your own projects, and modify the configuration or source code for your internal use.

• Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or transfer Kodama IA to third parties, modified or not.
• Offer it as part of a service or product facing third parties (SaaS, white-label resale, commercial integrations) without prior written authorization.
• Remove or alter copyright, trademark, or attribution notices from the software or its documentation.
• Use the "Kodama IA" name or SmartBrain Services' brand to promote derivative products.

• Every CLI command (add, update, list, search) and the Interactive Explorer, with no project limit.
• 100% offline installation (vendor/ folder with precompiled dependencies).
• Full export: PNG, PDF, JSON, and CSV.
• Email support for installation and usage questions.
• Lifetime access to the version you purchased. Future major versions of Kodama IA are not automatically included — they are optional upgrades, with their own price. As an existing customer, we'll notify you by email when a new version is released and you'll get an exclusive discount versus the price new customers pay.

• Kodama IA doesn't replace reading code for fine-grained changes — it gives context and location, it doesn't replace opening the exact file.
• The visual graph (Human View) purposely excludes generated-content folders (dependencies, builds, caches) to stay readable. That content remains 100% available in the Folder Tree, Search, and Disk Space views.
• AST analysis covers the languages supported by the extraction engine; files in unrecognized languages are still cataloged by name/path, even if they aren't broken down into functions/classes.

It's a one-time payment, no subscription. No refunds are issued once you've been delivered the Kodama IA installation package — as digital software with immediate delivery and instant download, the same return criteria as a physical product don't apply. If you have a technical installation or operation issue, contact us first — most cases are resolved through support, not a refund.

Kodama IA is provided "as is," with no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. SmartBrain Services is not liable for data loss, decisions made based on information generated by the map, or indirect damages arising from use or inability to use the software. You are responsible for keeping backups of your own projects.

Kodama IA depends at runtime on an open-source component under an MIT license (the AST extraction engine) and its own dependencies (all MIT, BSD, or Apache 2.0). They are redistributed unmodified, as permitted by their licenses — the full detail travels in the NOTICE.md file included in your download.

This license terminates automatically if you breach any of these terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of Kodama IA and destroy any copies in your possession.
